A New Perspective
Somehow, my weekends have kinda made an impact on me, and I dun really know the cause of it. But as soon as I got home, I told my sis.. It's better to be loved than to love! which of course just got a blank look on her face! *chuckles*

Maybe it's got to do with what happened during the weekends, met up with my babes and darlingz and somehow, whatever wwas said among all of us got to me. N also maybe coz the fasting month is here, which I'm really excited about!

The fasting month.. the time to let bygones be bygones (eventhough it's best to have it all year round!).. whatever has come our way, treat it as an experience to be a better person. Sweet, sour, bitter bits.. it's all only temporary, that's how our lives are anyway.. *smilez* Make the best of everything, whilst u still can!

One word
Only one word to describe my week.. BUSY! I've been so busy with assignments and settling my financial stuff. So many things happening to me all at the same time this week that I've not been able to reflect much about what's been happening..

Sometimes, it just get that way ain't it? *sighz* Now that 90% of the assignments are cleared, I've finally found the time to reflect on my thoughts.. So here goes...

Last weekend was fun and all, had a great time having a picnic & bbq with my friends! I've always enjoyed myself spending time by the beach.. The mind just relaxes and your worries forgotten.. but only for as long as the wind blows in your face and the sound of the waves echo in your ears... *smilez*

My weekdays was terrible though.. as expected, as there were like 5 assignments due this week. I nearly went bonkers finishing up the assignments.. One of my friends mentioned, why the heck did we get ourselves into this course? And my reply to her was, 'coz it keeps the money rolling in each month! *chuckles* 'Tis the price for monetary benefits!

I'm really looking forward to the end of next week... the end of Final Term Exams! *grinz* I just can't wait to start my holidays and get my personal life settled. I'm not going anywhere for the holidays, but I'm not complaining.. just to have peace and having my own personal time with very minimal worries is good enough for me.. it'll be like heaven to me!~

hmmm... there's something which keeps me wondering the whole week, amidst my busy schedule... I keep humming to this Malay song 'Dua Insan' (2 People)..

The 1st verse goes like this.. 'Bila Kau senyum, ku gembira. Bila kau sedih, ku menangis. Bagaikan taman rindukan kembang, ku rindu wajahmu oh Sayang' which when translated means, 'When you smile, I'm happy. When you're sad, I cry. Like the garden that misses its bloom, I'm missing you My Love.'

*chuckles* My friends keep asking why I keep humming and singing to this song, a love song. I dunno the answer. I just dunno the answer, really.. I wonder.. *smilez*

Yay!!
Yay!! I'm so proud of myself.. after a long time this school semester, I finally came in early! Not on time or late, but early!! *laffs*

I expected myself to be on time or late since the traffic's always a nightmare at this hour in the mornings with people going to work, and considering that I've nvr been lucky enough to catch the bus on time, and always have to waste time just for waiting for the bus. But nonetheless, here I am in school and my tutor is not here yet even! *smilez*

I can't wait for tomorrow though for the picnic and bbq that I'll be having with my friends.. I just lurve spending time by the beach! The weekends are here!! But first, another weekday to go through.. so till laterz peeps! *winks*

On a Happier Note...
oh.. one more thing.. on a happier note, there's another story called "Frog In Love", It's about a frog who realises he's in love with a duck! But one of the characters mentioned that a frog can't possibly fall in love with a duck, 'coz a frog is green and a duck is white!

But nonetheless, the frog still went ahead and continued to shower the duck with gifts secretly 'coz he's just too shy to admit his love to the duck. In the end, he injured himself while trying to win the Highest High Jump Contest and the duck nursed him to health, which gave them an opportunity to express their fondness to each other.

It's a sweet story with a beautiful phrase for its ending, "Love knows no boundaries." *sigh* So sweeeeeet!! *winks & chuckles*

Which one??
Had an interesting lesson in school today... My tutor shared a few stories with us including an Iran Folktale, "The Three Dolls", which got me thinking how true the story was. The story actually described people who exist in 3 different categories.

1st, a person who listens but everything which goes in one ear comes out to the other. 2nd, a person who listens to everything and keeps it all in to him/herself. The 3rd category is a person who listens to everything and keeps it all in, but the information comes out from his/her mouth, and not in its original form but it is personalized with his/her own way of expressing it.

I believe that all of us exists in either one of these 3 categories, and in each category that we belong to, there's always the downside of it or the sunny side of it, depending on our own thoughts, perceptions and judgements. But... the question is, which one do we belong to? Is there a clear cut to which category we belong to? Or are some of us somewhere in betweens of these 3 categories... Now.. that is the real question here.. *ponders*

Tit-4-Tat???
Was talking to a friend of mine and he highlighted to me the 'tit-for-tat' behaviour of some people. I do wonder why some peeps would have that kinda attitude. All in the name of revenge? That's it?

I believe that there's always a reason, a lesson for us to learn for every experience that we go through, be it a good one or a bad one. If we feel that we've been betrayed or taken advantage of by someone, and has the 'tit-for-tat' attitude, won't we be putting ourselves on the same platform as that person, equal to his/her standards? So, what's the use? What's the point if in the end, it's just gonna reflect badly on ourselves?

Whatever happens in life has a meaning for us, things don't happen without a reason. So, why not learn from experiences and move on rather than have your 'revenge' right? Time doesn't stop for no man, so why waste time on such unbeneficial things? Would it really make us happy if our revenge succeed? To what extent? Hmmm....

Was looking through an online diary, and I was reminded of what my friend said to me last week, 'never judge a book by its cover.' And for the past week, actually, I've learnt a lot more about the peeps around me, and truly believe in that phrase now.
Below is a snippet of my reflection in my own online diary..

"Never judge a book by its cover. Why do people, most of them anyway, appear to be what they are not? And we'll end up getting hurt by them..

It's so difficult to read people nowadays, coz most of them dun really show their true colors and most befriend you for a motive. How do we actually guard ourselves against such people? Are we supposed to not give our trust easily? If that is the case, won't we be living life just a little too cautious then we would like? Kinda restraining to me..

So, it has come to this, being free and trust people, but have a higher risk of being victimised or be cautious but live life always questioning people's actions... which one would you rather choose? or is there any other way to live life?"

I guess these add on to my thoughts for today... I feel so 'chatty' today! Hence why I'm writing so much in many different webbies! *smilez*

Just read the latest Forum news in my Ringo.com circle of friends and found out the community has 300+ people in just a month, and it's all through a network of friends. Pleasantly surprised to know this info really though I don't know 90% of the people in the community. *chuckles*

Nonetheless, it got me thinking, it is so so easy for us to get to know friends both online and offline, but how far does the friendship grow? What kinda depth will the friendship be, let's say, in 2-5 yrs time?

A friend is easy to come by, but a true friend takes time and effort to build.. true? *winkz*
