Bad service!
Oh on another note, I'm really disappointed with Apple Holidays Pte Ltd. And why... here's the story...
I was planning to go to Bali in December holidays with my galfriends and I know it's a little late to be planning one now, but I wanted to try my luck. So I sent out a request for quotation with the following details:
Enquiry: Destination: Bali (Free&Easy)
No of People: 4Adults
Travel Dates: 10-14December 2008(Wed-Sun)
Looking for Airfare and Accommodation
Budget: $500-$600
No. of rooms: 2 (Double bed - Queen/King)
Preferred Flight Timing:
Outbound - Morning
Inbound - Afternoon
So after waiting for two days, I got a reply from an agent in Apple Holidays and it read (direct copy and pasted from my email.. no amendments whatsoever, mind you):
Hi Rose,
With your tight budget yet want to go during December peak season and to choose morning & afternoon flights, it is totally IMPOSSIBLE!
Anyway, just to quote you our package (from 10 -14Dec'08) as follows:
* A return economy class air ticket SIN / BALI / SIN with SQ operated flight
* 4 nights stay at 3-star hotel Adhi Jaya OR Karthi Inn OR Bali Rani in Kuta area
* Daily breakfast
* 2-way airport / hotel transfers
Adult twin-sharing net to you is SGD545 + SGD145 taxes per person!
Thanks!

....... The moment I read the first couple of lines, I was like..... what??! What kind of service is this? (And it's not just me... all my colleagues and galfriends who I've shown this to reacted this way) I felt insulted by the reply... Gggrrr... I've yet to reply to his email coz still figuring out how to phrase it... Any ideas anyone??
Well.... customer service like any relationships requires the two parties to communicate effectively.... BUT especially for those who is rendering the service, you have to be particularly customer oriented.... So PLEASE... those in sales or related customer service line, learn from this SALES MANAGER's negative service. Even if you can't comply to a customer's request, there's always a diplomatic way of resolving the issue.
