The pictures were taken on 15 June 2006 in celebration of my galfriend, Lizi's, birthday. It was a day full of fun and laughter for the 3 Charlie's Angels.. *winkz*
We started the day with shopping at Toa Payoh Central.. and oh gosh.. they shopped till they dropped! *laughs* If you could collectively give them a name, you can call them the shopperholics or the shopping-maniacs, or the shopping-queens.. which, of course, all having the same meaning. *grinz*
After more than 2 hours of shopping, we headed down to Marina South for BBQ steamboat.. and after eating our fill while chit-chatting and laughing at each other, we decided we really had to do something about our bloated tummies, or else we will become more cute. *giggles*
And so.. we decided to play pool. And as usual, I became their cheerleader 'coz I simply can't get the hang of playing pool. After 2 rounds of pool, we played a round of bowling which ended with poor scores from all of us who have not been bowling for months and months.. *grinz*
To end it off, we played 3 rounds of racing each other at the Arcade, where we felt like teenagers playing and challenging each other, not satisfied until each of us took turns to become racing champions. *laughs*
It was a really wonderful time I had with my galfriends, doing soooo many things in just one day. The simple pleasures of life.. Once in a while doing things like these can be so satisfying and fulfilling. I really do hope there'll be many more of such memories to come~ *smilez*
---An Endless Story---

I went to Bintan on 13-14 June 2006. It was only for 2 days and 1 night, a short getaway for me.. and I thank God that it was only for 2 days and 1 night. They say when you go on a holiday... the most important factor is the company you're going with... and that is just oh so true!~ *frowns*
Eventhough from the pictures it's a really nice place, with cool, spacious room and nice scenery of the beach, I really didn't enjoy myself. It was the most boring holiday I've been to. Simply because the person I went with just didn't want to do anything except lie down in bed. *sighz* There were other unpleasant things that happened too but I shall not elaborate 'coz it would just remind me of my worst holiday.
Anyway, I wished things could turn out differently, but I'll just treat it as a lesson learnt.. A supposedly, potentially nice holiday gone wrong.. moral of the entry.. go on a holiday with company you're best with. *winkz*
P.S: Best part of the holiday was the 2hour massage and body scrub, with a healthy fruit juice at the end of the session for only $75! Heavenly... *smilez*
---An Endless Story---

Don't stare at the photo too long or else you'll get a headache! *grinz* I was playing around with a new photo-editing software and I got this effect. It's kind of like blurry, mysterious and soft. It's actually a collage of 3 pictures. The main focus is the picture of me and my dearest together, of course. *giggles* It was taken on Saturday, 3 June 2006, after a night of fun and drama. And what a night it was...*winkz*
I'd said it was a night of fun, all thanks to my galfriends who joined in from work.. It's been quite some time since we clubbed together and indeed, we had fun (kinda reminded me of the lyrics 'girls just wanna have fun' *smilez*).. But most of all, it was a night of drama.. thanks to a pair of husband and wife (my dearest's acquaintance) and my dearest's fellow friend and his galfriend.
First, if you're an outsider, you would never have guessed that it was a husband and wife pair. Simply because they rarely danced together and they weren't loving at all. The wife danced by herself and sometimes with her galfriends, wherelse the husband kept dancing with my galfriends, and was being very flirtatious! I told my dearest, "If you ever behave that way..." But before I could finish, he cut me off saying, "If I ever behave that way, I'll chop my head off! No way, Madame.. I'll never be that way." And we ended it off with a pinkie promise! *laughs*
Second, my dearest's friend and his galfriend had a quarrel in the club. Simply because she became jealous when he danced with my galfriends. And it was just plain innocent dancing, mind you. *grinz* She really pulled a long face and even scratched his arm! *ouch* It kinda spoilt the mood for a while seeing them both with sour faces. After they went off early, I told my dearest, "You're so lucky I'm not like that, especially since you're so popular with so many people knowing you." And he said, "That's why I love you, Madame." That certainly hit my soft spot and so, we ended it off being in each other's arms. *giggles*
Oh what a night it had been.. very interesting and eye-opening night indeed. I really really do hope that my dearest and I won't end up like those two couples. Well, come to think of it, Neah!~ I got a strong feeling, we won't....*grinz*
