1.
*Caller takes HP and dials HOME*
Someone picks up the phone.
Caller: Hey, where are you?
Receiver: Where else? Duh!
Remarks: You called HOME and you're asking where??

2.
Caller: What were you doing?
Receiver: Just finished my dinner.
Caller: So have you eaten?
Receiver: Duh!
Remarks: You've been told the person's just finished his/her dinner~

3.
Caller calls at 4am.....
Caller: Are you asleep?
Receiver: No, I'm not... Duh!
Remarks: Would a person who is asleep be picking up the phone? Well, maybe if he's/she's sleep-talking~

Farewell...
It is the last day of school today, but it wasn't the usual last days of school. Ours was the school closure as well. The school closure ceremony was filled with activities that lasted the whole day. But it was the last activity that got my eyes watery.....

The singing of the school song for the last time as the school flag was being lowered down... and as it ended, the song faded away... and then the sniffling cries could be heard... My eyes went watery but tried hard to keep it at bay... As we came to ease, I took a tissue and wiped my tears... but it was when the students' cries became obvious. It was truly a sad day for us. Though, some teachers said that we'll meet again in the future, I guess the teachers who are transferred out are the ones most feeling the sadness of parting. Yes, it was a choice for us to be transferred out but still, it was a difficult choice to make.

I've only been with the school for nearly 5 years but it was my first school since I officially became a trained teacher. Through these 5 years, we have become a closely-knitted 'family', among the teachers and students as well. We are a small school but we'd rather look at it as one big family. My dearest colleagues and students have taught me many valuable lessons and they've given me a lot of wonderful sweet memories. Yes, I call my students my lil' devilz... but that's my affectionate term for them. They are indeed my darlings.

Thank you to my dearest colleagues and students for the memories and times we spent together. May our paths cross in future and together, we'll look back and smile... I'll definitely miss all of you.... *hugz&kisses*

Woohoo!
I feel good~ Na-na-na-na-na-na-na~ *sings to the rhythm of that I feel good song* Yay! I received some good news today... won the Outstanding Contribution Award (Individual & Group!).. quite timely I must say 'coz the cashflow kind of tight at the moment. Thanks to my dearest colleagues who've acknowledged my hard work and voted for me. Thanks a lot darls! I'll be sure to treat you to a nice lunch aiytes! *smilez*

Being a teacher is no joke... it's not as easy as some peeps might think. We don't just teach... we do a whole lot more other things. It's all for the sake of moulding the kids holistically. Nowadays, it's not just the brains, but it's the brawns as well, physically and mentally. EQ, IQ..equally important. That's why we educators have our hands very full most of the times. So, it's these kind of awards or rewards that makes us feel appreciated. In fact, it need not be monetary, just a simple gesture of appreciation can just lift our spirits and motivate us further. *smilez*

So thank you once again to my dearest friends at work for recognizing my efforts. Look forward to my treat ok! *winkz*

p.s. I also received my posting today.. I got to know which school I'll be posted to next year... Went to the school's website to psyche myself up... but still, I don't know how it'll be like in the new school next year.. *keeps fingers crossed*
Oh, and did I mention I'm having my 4days exam leave till 6Nov? So much things happening when I'm on leave... It's so difficult to concentrate on revision. *frownz*

I'm soo glad!
I'm soooooo glad it's over... I'm talking about my bro's wedding. It was a very hectic and tiring experience starting from Friday afternoon. The preparations for the wedding and the wedding day itself on Sunday and then the cleaning up. PHEW~ I was deadbeat by 10pm yesterday. After laying out the mattress in the living room, both my grandma and I fell asleep instantly. I woke up only at 8am this morning. Anyway, I'm glad that it's all done now and I wish my bro success and much happiness in his marriage. Here's a look at the wedding cupcakes that I ordered for him.
