My 1st try at abstract art!
I was reading CLEO (Singapore) magazine and came across an interesting website which was featured in the magazine's 'I.T.' section. The article was sharing on websites that stimulates the artistic minds. One of the websites got me hooked to it. *grinz*

It is really simple... All you have to do is to scribble lines on the screen, and when you're done, you can start the program and the computer just automatically 'scribbles' and with the options of changing colours as it scribbles, you can play around with it and come up with interesting pieces of abstract art! Here're 2 pieces of abstract art that I got as a result of scribbling:

And here is the website url http://www.zefrank.com/scribbler/ . You really don't have to be a professional artist or a computer expert to access the website and try it out. After doing it, just press the 'Print Screen' button on your keyboard, and paste it on any image-editing software to crop the picture. With some editing, you can come up with a decent piece of abstract art.

So now, can anyone tell me what the two pieces are about? *grinz*

New Look!
In case you haven't noticed, I've got my blog a new look! *smilez*

After a long time, I finally decided to get a new look for my blog, thinking to myself, "Hey, my blog needs some brightness." And what better way than to add some white! *giggles*

I just love the simplicity of the design, giving a classic feeling to it. The use of black and white kinda puts a more down-to-earth tone. The design kinda reflects myself - simple, down-to-earth yet, illuminating a certain aura, that something deeper lies within. *smilez*

The musicvideo's been changed too. I've always liked the song 'Mockingbird' by Eminem. The song carries a lot of meaning and represents the harsh realities of life.

Well... the blog's kinda refreshing. To me, at least. And anyway, it's my blog, my thoughts, my past, my life.. *grinz*

Expectations...
Expectations.... people are so full of expectations. They expect things to happen in life.. they have expectations of people around them. I'm so tired of expectations....

I've lived my life living up to people's expectations of me... that's what I thought.. but I guess no matter what I do, I still fall short of those expectations. But what choice do I have? I have my own limitations.. nobody's perfect, right? *sighz*

Sometimes, I just wish that I'll just disappear into the loneliness of night, hoping noone would notice my existence. For once, I just want to live life without anyone's expectations resting upon my shoulders. I've lived with having to fulfil other people's wishes, having them in my mind and thoughts, caring for their comfort and what they would think and feel. I just wish that they, in return, would do me a favour and just let me be myself at times, just let me think of myself, just think of me for once....

It's not about being self-centred, but I just need my own space... I just need to live my own life, find my own happiness, be respected and accepted as who I am. Is that so much to ask for?

'In the depths of the night,
I bury myself in slumber,
crying myself to sleep,
as my heart hurts so achingly.
Then there was this shining light,
and as I opened my eyes,
I knew then, that no matter what,
the stars still shine brightly.'
I'm keeping my faith and still hope for the best.. Reminding myself that everything happen for a reason. No matter how dark life seems to be, it still has to go on. To let it stay dark, or to shine some light into it, it's a choice I have.... I just wish, though, I could be understood for once.... *sigh*
