Eeeks!
I've been at home for two days now... Yesterday was fine as I needed the rest... but after today, I feel like I'm rotting at home now. Eventhough the day had started off productive with my LP done, it slowly began to get on my nerves. First, my dearest had buih-ed me... Been waiting for his call and for him to come over but none, zilch, no news from him. Gggrrrr! I am SO going to get him a mobile for his b'day. Hmph!~

And now that it's night time, the more I feel the urge to go out... but my galfren cancelled plans for karaoke, so now, I'm fated to stay home tonight. *sighz*

There's no point to this entry actually. I'm just finding something to do. Tired of watching korean dramas on my pc and drinking glass after glass of lemon barley. Feels so bloated now, but I'm darn bored that I could just eat the rest of my brownies with another few glasses of lemon barley again! *rolls eyes*

Okay, I'm gonna try asking my babes out for tomorrow. There's no chance that I'm gonna stay home the whole day tomorrow~ =P

Fortune Cookies!
Spent over $60 at Watsons just now and I got 2 free fortune cookies.... My first two in my life so far! *grinz* The first pack that I tore open revealed an open fortune cookie and it read, 'You can't change the past but you can ruin the present by worrying over the future.' And that got me thinking.

So true, in the midst of worrying of what's to come, what lies ahead, what is going to happen, most probably, we'll end up not enjoying the present. Sometimes, we get too hung up over such things. Why? The future is not ours to see, right? (Thanks Que Sera Sera)... So what's the point? Instead of worrying, we should plan ahead. Nevermind if the plan may fail, at least we're not worrying. This is really a note to myself, actually. More white hairs keep appearing and the frown lines are getting more visible, so... I should stop worrying over the future. I'm slowly trying to live in the present, adjusting to the new environment this year. I just want to get by feeling less worried and caught up each day. *keeps fingers crossed*

So maybe the already-opened fortune cookie may signify the current situation I'm in... so the other fortune cookie (which I finally get to crack open myself) may signify my true future... which is 'One day, you will become rich and famous.' *laffs* ouh and yeah. *keeps fingers crossed* =P

Highs and Lows
Entry (much)overdue.. so here goes.

1)
HIGH:
I had a good time on new year's eve. I'm glad to see my dearies and dearest having fun at Siloso Beach Party. The night started off fine, but by 3am, my legs were screaming for a seat! And the thought of sitting on the sand turned me off especially with all the sweat on me, so I had to drag my dearest with me to find a proper seat. After half an hour of rest and some munching, I decided to call it a night and went back to the beach resort with my dearies joining us 45mins later.

LOW:
Something happened that night... I don't know exactly what happened but ever since then... *sighz*

2)
HIGH:
I had my birthday celebration last Saturday, 10 Jan. Had a great dinner at Rice Table with my galfrens and dearest, followed by a chill-out night. Thanks to my babes for the thoughtful gifts~

LOW:
Whatever happened on New Year's eve has dragged on till that Saturday night. 10 days have passed... *sighz*

3)
HIGH:
This year, I received 2 golden gifts, a ring from my mum and a bracelet from my dearest. It's been a long time since I've worn gold and their gifts have rekindled my interests for it. I also had a great time yesterday night that started with seafood dinner at Newton with my dearest, his friends and my galfren. After that, we had fun together.. really funny times. Been a while since I laughed so much! (Hend: remember Pisi? "I love you all! Muah Muah Muah!" *laffs*) Hope to have more good times this year~ =)

LOW:
For many years, I've seen the both of you together, we've been holidaying together, partying together, chilling out together, but then yesterday, only one half of you was there. Something felt amissed. I don't mean to interfere but really do hope the both of you would work things out. Years of friendship don't just fall apart in just 1 night. No matter who's in the wrong or right... look beyond the issue. Really looking forward to spend time with the BOTH of you soon~ =)

End note: A high-low start for 2009.. and January's not even out yet. So... 2009's still a loooong way to go~ Hopefully it gets better~
