Madness!
It was madness in Kuala Lumpur (KL) Malaysia!! As mentioned in my previous entry, I went on a short 3D/2N trip to KL, last weekend. It was shopping madness, especially since I went with 2 shopaholics! *laffs*

An unforgettable experience for me would be shopping at Chinatown, Petaling Street, KL. The street was full of stalls selling imitation branded handbags, bags, luggages, wallets, t-shirts, jackets, and lots lots more. You can find a wide range of brands there like Gucci, Coach, LV, and sports brands like Adidas, Nike, Billabong and much more.

The fun part was the art of Bargaining! Amongst my purchases, I bought a 'Gucci' wallet, originally priced at RM75, for only RM20! Imagine the sense of satisfaction I had after all the bargaining. *grinz*

So, for those of you who wants to go to KL, make sure u save part of your money for shopping in Chinatown. It will be an unforgettable experience for you too, I'm sure! *winkz*

For now, I'll leave you with a collage of pictures I took in KL. *smilez*

  • Top Row: Hotel Istana - Our 'Home' in KL, Hotel Reception Counter and Hotel Lobby
  • Middle Row: Hotel Restaurant where we had 2 sumptuous delicious breakfast, Lift Lobby on the 3rd floor where our room was on (not very nice scenery to look at outside our hotel room), and our room! This was taken on the third day, so you should understand the state it was in! *laffs*
  • Bottom Row: One of the public transport in KL - the Monorail.. Some sort like the LRT in Singapore.. Feels like home, Almost! *giggles*
To end it for now, those celebrating Xmas, Merry Xmas to You! And the rest, Happy Holidays! =)

Amazing...

I went on a family picnic with my aunts, uncles, cousins, sister and brother on Sunday 4th December 2005. It was very tiring 'coz it's been a long time. Best of all, it was amazing! Although I did not swim, I had a wonderful time observing people, especially my little cousin.

Meet the little cute kid, Haikal, aged 1+ years old. Looking back at the photos taken, I'm quite awed at just how many 'faces' one can really have. Best of all, the faces taken and shown here are those of an innocent little kid. Notice how his eyes shines when he laughs and enjoying himself. Compare it to how pitiful he looks when his beach ball was taken away. *gigglez* He's really amazing!

*sighz* The pictures really remind me of those innocent times, when we were easily forgiven for our mistakes, just because we were kids... But nonetheless, everyone has to grow up and taste the bittersweetness of life, right? *winkz* Here's to every little kids out there... Make as much silly mistakes as you can and have lotsa fun! *giggles*

It's been 2 years..
Wow.. as I was looking through the entries of my blog, I realised that it's been 2 years since I started the blog. It's an achievement on my part 'coz I've never stuck to a diary for more than a year.. *smilez*

It's 1st of december, another 30 more days to go till New Year, the coming of 2006. I thought I'll leave my reflections for 2005 at the end of the month when the right time comes. For now, I'm just happy to be able to relax a little during the school holidays.

I can't wait for 16th Dec where I'll be going off to KL, Malaysia for a short 3D/2N Getaway. I'm sure there'll be pictures for me to post here! *winkz* It's been a long time since I went on a holiday, not counting the trips to JB. Bintan in May was nice, but it wasn't all spectacular. Actually, going on a holiday trip can be very tiring at the end of it. So, we really need to make the best out of the trip in the middle so that when we reach home feeling tired, we can look back and we're content that the trip was really meaningful and fun. *smilez*

Wishing everyone a very happy holidays, meaningful and fun times ahead! But do remember to take good care of yourself.. *winkz*
