Panic Attack....
As I was showering this morning, I had a panic attack... and it was all because of just thinking about the number of things that I needed to get settled this coming week. *frownz*

The term had just started barely a week ago but the pile of work just keeps on getting higher. Hardly there was time to take a breather. Each day ends with exhaustion, so much so that I end up going to bed early and when I wake up, the rest is still not enough. I can't imagine how hectic it will get when I start my parttime uni. *sighz*

Getting the panic attack surprised me as it was my first. Although it was mild, I'm troubled by it. I was just running through in my head the various things I needed to settle, the deadlines and all when I started to feel breathless. I managed to calm down but my hands were shaky for about an hour after that.

I just hope that I'll be able to manage my time good enuff to avoid any such attacks again. Luckily, I've got myself a time-out corner where I'll just sit and do nothing when I get too stressed up or work overload. It really helps to have one at work. *smilez*

What is happening....
A friend of mine told me today that her marriage is over.. But actually, I wasn't surprised. I told her that to me, I've been around so many such relationships that I sort of now have become... used to it. But what surprised me was when she told me what the other woman said when she confronted her..."It's not that I'm stealing your husband, it's you who don't know how to take care of your husband." Gosh... What is happening to this world???

I mean, I don't know whose fault it is in the 1st place and I'm definitely not in a position to ascertain that, but to say that is like rubbing salt to the open wound. Didn't she feel any shame at all? As a woman herself, didn't she feel guilty even if it's just a teenie bit?

And what about the husband? There's a saying 'the seventh year itch'. But really, man or woman, that saying has become an understatement... in fact, redundant.. 'coz when it's time to itch, it will itch no matter how long a couple have been together..

Sometimes, I really wonder... why did they get married in the first place? What is the meaning of marriage to them? Some say, it's fate... oh yeah right, blame it all on fate.. That's pathetic, really.
*sighz*

I truly feel bad for her as she's left to fend for herself and her young kids. There's little I can do for her.. just to remind her to stay strong and keep it together for her and her kids. I will not say, it's all fated... I'll say, 'This is life. There are ups.. and there will be downs.'
