Take a breather!
It's school holidays but I'm caught in the midst of meetings to prepare for 2005. This whole week has been sooo hectic!!But it was fun!! A lot of joking around and laughter were shared in my workplace, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise for us all. I guess it's because we've juz been too engrossed and caught up in our teaching duties during the school year so we rarely had time to have fun and bond with each other.
It gets that way sometimes, not juz in our careers but in our personal lives too. We can get too caught up with a specific task or problem or situation that we tend to overlook other matters which are equally important, resulting in other people feeling neglected and unimportant. And most of these times, we do it subconsciously.
Sometimes, we realize it in time and make up for it, but other times, the realization juz comes a bit later. We'll juz hope that people around us understand what we're going thru and forgive us. *smilez* Which brings to light another thought... How do we get people to understand us when we're too caught up? And how many times can we be forgiven? *smilez*
Well, I guess we have to, more consciously, make an effort to: Take a breather. No matter how caught up you are with something, do pause, rest and take a breather. It's all for your own good.. And this is what I'm trying my best to do! *smilez*
So my dear family and friends, it's not that I'm loving you or caring about you less, its just that I may be too preoccupied with stuffs, but rest assured you are all still being remembered, juz have patience with me, alright? *grinz*
