What the future holds...
I was surfing the Net and came across this:
"Love isn't love unless it is expressed; caring isn't caring unless the other person knows; sharing isn't sharing unless the other person is included; Loving, caring, and sharing can make for a very happy marriage. "

I guess loving, caring and sharing are the basic essence of, not only a marriage, but in any kind personal relationship. Although to have these sounds simple, but in actual fact, it isn't. For me, I know it isn't simple at all, 'coz all my life, there are just too many failed relationships that I've come across, be it personally, directly or indirectly through the people around me.

My dearest was sharing with me, that his ambition is to start a business, venturing out to other countries. I told him... No matter where you go, I'll be with you, right there by your side. That's the most important lesson I've learnt through my parents' divorce. You see, my mum and dad were always busy with their own business. My mum was always overseas and my dad worked from morning till night, and at night when he came back, he'd be too tired to be with us, his children. These situations probably led to their separation. And from them, I've learnt that it isn't just about trust and understanding between couples when they're apart.. Sometimes, we just need to be physically and emotionally there for each other.

I'm not an expert in marriage, I'm not a marriage counsellor.. Heck! I'm not even married.. But I do know that a happy marriage isn't just about loving, caring and sharing.. A whole lot more is needed. Many a times when I look at failed marriages and marital affairs around me, I question the meaning of love and relationship. At times, it can be disheartening to see these kind of things going on, but nonetheless, these are parts of life.

I tell myself not to be disheartened and shy away from love and marriage. I want to get married, have children and be happy with my own little family. They say Capricorns are ambitious, but Capricorns are down to earth too. I'll do what is needed to make myself a happy family. Even if I have to put all other things aside, I will put my own family first. I will not let my children go through what I went through with my parents' separation. The only tears that they'll be shedding will be tears of joy, I hope and pray.. That's what my future holds... with God's will. *smilez*
