Helpless...
Everything's in motion,
ever so fast,
seemingly unnoticeable,
lies the stillness,
of the dark...

The heart knowingly,
keeps it away,
and even when it peeks,
the heart locks it back at bay...

Wished it could be different,
prayed for the best,
still, it wasn't meant to be,
peace was never at rest...

Fear, it's gripping,
mindless at times,
