My two babies...

I'm a new mother to two babies... that's what my colleagues have been calling me the past two days. And my two babies are my terrapins! A male and a female. *smilez*

I bought them on Wednesday with the intention of putting them in my Science corner in class since the kids will be learning about life Sciences. In the end, the terrapins stayed on my table. They're just so cute, and so active! And they've become sort of like a kind of therapy for me. Whenever I felt stressed, I would look at them and smile. I even wanted to give them names (one of my colleague suggested Terra and Terry)... but I was advised to do so with my class since they're supposed to be my class pets. *grinz*

But... I got a scolding! From my dearest... he scolded me for buying them and putting them in a tank. He said, "What if you're the one in the tank?" (That must be a really big tank. *grinz*) Well, I managed to bargain with him.. He let me keep the terrapins for a month before we let them out into the world. *sobs sobs*

Well, I'll be showing you pictures of them soon. Or maybe a video to let you see how active they can be, especially the female, who likes to climb on the stones and her partner. Quite the opposite of each other! *smilez*
